Morning Routine for Oily Skin
If you're having trouble with oily skin, you may feel like your skin looks too shiny or feels excessively greasy. The cause may be genetic, or seasonal. Dealing with oily skin is a balancing act between excess oil and maintaining your skin’s natural moisture - and we're here to help you find this balance. Here is our recommendation for a morning routine to help you control oily skin.
Step 1 - Facial Wash
Start by washing your face with our Facial Wash with Cleanser for Oily Skin. Gentle stimulation can do wonders to start your day with a smile. Our facial wash helps draw out toxins and pollutants accumulated in your skin, so a good cleanse before you start lays the groundwork for the rest of your self care session.
Step 2 - Eye Care
Next up, let's get the area around your eyes under control. For this, our exclusive Eye Cream formulation will do the trick. Next up, little dabs of Eye Cream will keep any puffiness or dark circles under control.
Step 3 - Balance
For the end of your morning routine, you'll have to balance out the excess oils in your skin with your natural skin moisture. Thankfully, Olea Essences' Day Cream is formulated to balance out oil secretions in the skin.
At the same time, it smooths wrinkles down to finer lines and nourishes the skin deeply, boosting the skin's natural feel, elasticity, and glow.
You're now ready to face the day, bright and glowing. But, if you want to go another step ahead.
Step 4 - 100% Coverage
This final step is optional, but we can't recommend it highly enough. Once a week, pick a quiet relaxed evening to use your Olive Face Mask (you can even do it in the bath). Take a generous amount in your hand, and use it to exfoliate your face. Let the crushed olive pits massage away the layers of dead skin and other accumulated dirt. Then sit back, relax and let the mask do its magic. Rinse after about 10 minutes.
It's a balance, but when find what your skin needs, show the world the best You you can be.
Apply a small amount (2 pumps without makeup, 4 pumps with makeup) onto dry skin, massage gently in small circles, and rinse off.
Tap a small amount above and around eyelids and under eyes. Smooth gently with inward sweeping motions to avoid stretching skin. Allow three minutes to fully absorb before applying facial moisturizer. Use morning and evening for maximum effect.
Apply a small amount of Olea Essence Moisturizing Day Cream to your face in the morning, after cleansing and toning to enhance its effect. Avoid the delicate eye area.
Gently apply a thin layer to the face – avoiding eye and lip area. Let it set for up to 10 minutes and rinse.
Note: if your skin is noticeably flush, this is a good sign! This is the circulation-boosting action of the mask and is completely normal.
